Resumen
El artículo presenta un análisis de la comunicación en relación con la actividad profesional
que desarrollan los profesores universitarios. En este sentido, se sistematizan obras y
autores cubanos y foráneos de referencia en el tema. El análisis de la comunicación tiene
un enfoque desde lo psicopedagógico y lo lingüístico, para develar características
esenciales, funciones y formas que deben llevarse a la práctica en contextos de
educación superior: actividades educativas, académicas, laborales, investigativas y
extensionistas. También se enriquece el material con el tratamiento y la precisión de

Abstract
