Resumen
El objetivo del trabajo consiste en analizar la estructura del claustro de la Universidad de Matanzas según criterios de dinámica demográfica. Para ello se han adaptado una serie de herramientas reconocidas en la literatura científica para dichos análisis. Estas se refieren a: la construcción de la pirámide demográfica del claustro de la Universidad de Matanzas desde el año 2016 hasta 2020; El cálculo del índice de envejecimiento del claustro de la Universidad de Matanzas (IECUM); El cálculo del Índice de reemplazo del claustro de la Universidad de Matanzas (IRCUM); Índice de Estructura del Claustro Activo de la Universidad de Matanzas (IECAUM); Índice del Relevo Generacional del Claustro de Doctores, en este caso concreto de la Universidad de Matanzas (IRGCD), con el que se muestra la incidencia de los resultados anteriores en el proceso de formación de doctores en la institución, por considerarlo como un elemento esencial que define la calidad del claustro. El resultado fundamental se refiere a la generación de un conjunto de información valiosa para que los decisores diseñen las estrategias adecuadas de sostenibilidad y estabilidad del claustro, dándole seguimiento a los índices propuestos mediante un monitoreo sistemático que redunde en la transformación paulatina de la pirámide actual.
Abstract
The objective of this work is to analyze the structure of the cloister of the University of Matanzas according to demographic dynamics criteria. For this, a series of tools recognized in the scientific literature have been adapted for such analyzes. These have been modified and / or adapted to the object of study of the work and refer to: the construction of the demographic pyramid of the cloister of the University of Matanzas from 2016 to 2020; The calculation of the Aging index of the cloister of the University of Matanzas (IECUM); The calculation of the replacement index of the cloister of the University of Matanzas (IRCUM); Structure Index of the Active Cloister of the University of Matanzas (IECAUM); Index of the Generational Relay of the Faculty of Doctors, in this specific case of the University of Matanzas (IRGCD), which shows the incidence of the previous results in the process of training doctors in the institution, considering it as an essential element that defines the quality of the cloister. The fundamental result refers to the generation of a set of valuable information for decision-makers to design appropriate strategies for sustainability and stability of the cloister, following up on the proposed indices through systematic monitoring those results in the gradual transformation of the current pyramid.
