Resumen
Frente a los desafíos que propone la Agenda 2030, se reconoce el papel clave de la Universidad en su consecución. La universidad de Moa, implementa un proyecto estratégico y es fuerza impulsora de las transformaciones de la economía y la sociedad
cubana, como institución comprometida con la construcción de una nación soberana, independiente, socialista, democrática, próspera y sostenible. En tal sentido, se requiere perfeccionar los principales procesos universitarios que esta realiza, en función de
avanzar hacia la consecución de los Objetivos del Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) y sus metas, en aras de aportar al desarrollo sostenible del país y el municipio. Este trabajo apunta hacia la necesidad de transversalizar los objetivos para el desarrollo sostenible a los diferentes procesos que realiza la universidad, en pos de lograr los necesarios
avances hacia la sostenibilidad. Se abordaron diferentes conceptos relacionados con el
desarrollo sostenible y la educación para el desarrollo sostenible. Desde esta perspectiva, se resaltó la necesidad de integrar los ODS al contexto de la institución, en función de atemperarla a las nuevas exigencias sociales y aportar desde sus procesos a la
educación para el desarrollo sostenible de cuadros, directivos, estudiantes y trabajadores.
Se propone su implementación mediante una estrategia, contentiva de etapas y acciones
para su implementación. Se emplearon métodos teóricos como el análisis, la síntesis y el
hermenéutico.
Abstract
Faced with the challenges proposed by the 2030 Agenda, the key role of the University in its achievement is recognized. Moa University implements a strategic project and is the driving force behind the transformations of the Cuban economy and society, as an institution committed to building a sovereign, independent, socialist, democratic, prosperous and sustainable nation. In this sense, it is necessary to improve the main university processes that it carries out, in order to advance towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and its goals, in order to contribute to the sustainable development of the country and the municipality. This work points to the need to mainstream the objectives for sustainable development to the different processes carried out by the university, in order to achieve the necessary progress towards sustainability. Different concepts related to sustainable development and education for sustainable development were addressed. From this perspective, the need to integrate the SDGs into the context of the institution was highlighted, in order to adjust it to the new social demands and contribute from its processes to education for the sustainable development of cadres, managers, students and workers. Its implementation is proposed through a strategy, containing stages and actions for its implementation.
