Resumen
La presente ponencia aborda las experiencias del tratamiento y acciones curriculares, extensionistas e investigativas y comunicacionales que se realizan desde las universidades cubanas sobre los programas nacionales aprobados para enfrentar discriminación de cualquier tipo. Con el triunfo de la Revolución se crearon las bases jurídicas y las condiciones objetivas y subjetivas para el desarrollo de un modelo inclusivo, asentado en la igualdad y la justicia social, la plena emancipación de la mujer y el apego irrestricto a los principios de soberanía y autodeterminación. Aunque se percibe un mayor reconocimiento a los enfoques de género en las diferentes tareas, el impulso alcanzado en el tratamiento adecuado de la violencia de género, acciones para enfrentar y combatir la trata de personas y manifestaciones de maltrato al Adulto Mayos, así como la incorporación de debates de algunos temas de estos Programas en el contexto universitario, aún es insuficiente el alcance y conocimiento de los mismos en el estudiantado y personal docente universitario, se requiere de mayor agilidad en la búsqueda de soluciones a problemáticas que se presentan, la prioridad de avanzar en temas de igualdad, respeto a la diversidad y no discriminación en emisoras locales y plataformas digitales. Se debe fomentar cursos, posgrados y talleres sobre temas de diversidad sexual, género, violencia de género, entre otras, al igual que la necesidad de mejorar las condiciones de trabajo.
Abstract
This paper deals with the experiences of the treatment and curricular, extension, research and communicational actions carried out from Cuban universities on the national programs approved to face discrimination of any kind. With the triumph of the Revolution, the legal bases and the objective and subjective conditions were created for the development of an inclusive model, based on equality and social justice, the full emancipation of women and the unrestricted adherence to the principles of sovereignty and self-determination. Although there is greater recognition of gender approaches in the different tasks, the momentum achieved in the adequate treatment of gender violence, actions to confront and combat human trafficking and manifestations of mistreatment of the Elderly, as well as the incorporation of debates on some topics of these Programs in the university context, The scope and knowledge of these programs among students and university teaching staff is still insufficient; greater agility is required in the search for solutions to problems that arise, the priority of advancing on issues of equality, respect for diversity and non-discrimination in local radio stations and digital platforms. Courses, postgraduate courses and workshops on issues of sexual diversity, gender, gender violence, among others, should be promoted, as well as the need to improve working conditions.
