Resumen
El presente estudio se realizó en el departamento carrera Ingeniería Industrial, perteneciente a la Facultad de Ciencias Técnicas de la Universidad Agraria de La Habana. Debido a la situación epidemiológica que atraviesa nuestro país, como consecuencia de la pandemia de la COVID-19, el inicio del curso 2021 en esta carrera se inició en la modalidad de educación a distancia con el uso intensivo de las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones. Por ello, el objetivo general de la investigación fue evaluar el desarrollo del proceso docente educativo en el Curso Diurno de la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en tiempos de pandemia. Para darle cumplimiento, se procedió a una profunda revisión bibliográfica sobre la educación a distancia como modalidad de estudios universitarios, se realizaron entrevistas no estructuradas y se aplicaron encuestas a estudiantes y profesores de la carrera, para la identificación de las principales dificultades presentadas a lo largo del primer bloque académico. El diagnóstico realizado reveló una serie de deficiencias que provocaron como problemática principal la poca satisfacción con el proceso docente educativo desarrollado bajo esta modalidad. Para contribuir a la corrección de las debilidades más significativas y, en consecuencia, al perfeccionamiento del proceso docente educativo en la carrera Ingeniería Industrial, en vista a futuros contextos que precisen nuevamente la implementación de esta alternativa, fue propuesto un plan de acciones.
Abstract
The present study was carried out in the Department of Industrial Engineering, which belongs to the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the Agrarian University of Havana. Due to the epidemiological situation that our country is going through, as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 course in this career began in the modality of distance education with the intensive use of information and communication technologies. Therefore, the general objective of the research is to evaluate the development of the educational teaching process in the Day Course of the Industrial Engineering career in pandemic times. To comply with it, a thorough bibliographic review was carried out on distance education as a modality of university studies, unstructured interviews were conducted and surveys were applied to students and professors of the career, to identify the main difficulties presented throughout of the first academic block. The diagnosis made revealed a series of deficiencies that caused as a main problem the low satisfaction with the educational teaching process developed under this modality. To contribute to the correction of the most significant weaknesses and, consequently, to the improvement of the educational teaching process in the Industrial Engineering career, in view of future contexts that again require the implementation of this alternative, an action plan was proposed.
