XVII Taller Internacional “La Educación Superior y sus Perspectivas”
En el mapa curricular la unidad de aprendizaje Proyecto Terminal se ubica para ser cursada en el último semestre del programa académico Ingeniería Química Industrial, en la que el objetivo principal es elaborar el trabajo escrito para titularse por la opción de tesis, sin embargo, en lo general según los datos estadísticos no es su primera opción, siendo la de Seminario de titulación la que optan con mayor frecuencia en virtud de que les facilita titularse en menor tiempo, aunque este tenga un costo.
Este análisis pretende definir las condiciones que se deben considerar para que la unidad de aprendizaje cumpla su función de apoyo en el proceso de titulación, revisando requisitos y las condiciones de los trabajos escritos en las diferentes opciones, por lo que también serán comentadas cada una de éstas.
No hay resultados cuantitativos, son más de apreciaciones sobre decisiones y dificultades en la asignatura por parte de los estudiantes, de tal manera que las conclusiones se generalizan en la importancia a aspectos socioeconómicos, más que a las situaciones académicas o formativas. Es evidente que las referencias de información se enmarcan en los documentos institucionales y en el diseño curricular.
In the curricular map, the Terminal Project learning unit is located to be taken in the last semester of the Industrial Chemical Engineering academic program, in which the main objective is to prepare the written work to graduate by the thesis option, however, in general, according to the statistical data, it is not their first option. The Degree Seminar is the one they choose most frequently because it makes it easier for them to graduate in less time, even if it comes at a cost.
This analysis aims to define the conditions that must be considered for the learning unit to fulfill its support function in the degree process, reviewing requirements and the conditions of the written work in the different options, so each of these will also be commented.
There are no quantitative results, they are more of an appreciation of decisions and difficulties in the subject by the students, in such a way that the conclusions are generalized in the importance to socioeconomic aspects, rather than to academic or formative situations. It is evident that the information references are framed in the institutional documents and in the curricular design.
