XVII Taller Internacional de Extensión Universitaria
El objetivo es realizar un diagnóstico al Sistema de Gestión de la Calidad del proceso de extensión universitaria que identifique la situación actual del proceso para su mejora continua. Se detectó como principales debilidades: no se encuentran determinadas las entradas y salidas del proceso y la secuencia e interacción de los mismos, dificultades en la asignación de las responsabilidades y autoridades para el adecuado funcionamiento del proceso a nivel de facultad, no están abordados los riesgos y oportunidades del proceso, no se encuentra documentado el proceso y sus subprocesos y como fortalezas: posee un manual de procedimientos para la gestión, están diseñados cursos de posgrados y diplomados para capacitar a los profesores para la conducción del proceso extensionista y las tareas de impacto se colegian a partir de las necesidades emitidas por los organismos y el gobierno. La aplicación de las herramientas utilizadas permitió determinar las principales insuficiencias relacionadas con la NC ISO 9001:2015 y obtener una primera aproximación a la solución estratégica general del proceso.
This work is the result of research carried out at the University of Las Tunas. Its objective is to make a diagnosis of the Quality Management System of the university extension process that allows identifying the current situation of the process for its continuous improvement. The study is timely since, although the quality management of the processes has been worked in the university, not all the requirements established by ISO 9001:2015 and the SEAES in their entirety have been implemented. By means of the diagnosis carried out it was detected as main weaknesses: the required inputs and the expected outputs of the process and the sequence and interaction thereof are not determined, difficulties in assigning responsibilities and authorities for the proper functioning of the process at the faculty level, the risks and opportunities of the process are not addressed, the process and its sub-processes are not documented; and as strengths: has a manual of procedures for management, graduate and graduate courses are designed to train teachers to conduct the extensionist process and impact tasks are based on the needs issued by agencies and the government. Therefore, actions are needed to achieve efficient and effective management that enhances the development of this substantive process.
