XVII Taller Internacional de Extensión Universitaria
En enero de 2022 se creó la Oficina de Apoyo al Voluntariado (GAV), formada por dos docentes, dos no docentes y un alumno de la Asociación de Alumnos.
La promoción de proyectos anclados en el voluntariado y el trabajo solidario son estrategias que permiten un mayor desarrollo de ciudadanos socialmente responsables y también habilidades transversales como la empatía, el compromiso y la autonomía.
Con el propósito de desarrollar diferentes áreas de voluntariado (ambiental, social, sanitaria, científica, cultural, deportiva), se han establecido alianzas con varias asociaciones/organizaciones de la ciudad. Los voluntarios se registran en GAV rellenando un breve formulario que les permite conocer su perfil y área de interés.
Desde sus inicios, se han desarrollado varias iniciativas de voluntariado ambiental (limpieza de las riberas del río y concienciación para un medio ambiente más saludable y sostenible), en el área social (campañas para elevar las necesidades básicas), en el área de la salud (para aumentar la alfabetización en salud de poblaciones vulnerables apoyadas por diversas asociaciones), en la recolección de juguetes y ropa infantil (campaña Navidad con más sonrisas) y otras acciones propuestas por miembros de la comunidad académica. GAV ha promovido cursos de formación de voluntarios dirigidos a la comunidad académica, especialmente a los estudiantes.
La difusión de las iniciativas se realiza a través de las redes sociales, la página del colegio y también a todos los inscritos, se envía información sobre las iniciativas que se están llevando a cabo. Las actividades desarrolladas por los alumnos se contabilizan a efectos de complementar el diploma y al final de cada evento se realiza una evaluación.
The Volunteer Support Office (GAV) was created in January 2022, consisting of two teachers, two non-teaching staff and one student from the Students' Association.
The promotion of projects anchored in voluntary and solidarity work are strategies that allow for the greater development of socially responsible citizens and also transversal skills such as empathy, commitment and autonomy.
With the purpose of developing different areas of volunteering (environmental, social, health, scientific, cultural, sports), partnerships have been established with several associations/organizations in the city. Volunteers register with GAV by filling out a short form that allows them to know their profile and area of interest.
Since its inception, several initiatives have been developed in environmental volunteering (cleaning the banks of the river and raising awareness for a healthier and more sustainable environment), in the social area (campaigns to collect basic necessities), in the health area (increasing the health literacy of vulnerable populations supported by various associations), collection of toys and children's clothes (Christmas with More Smiles campaign) and other actions proposed by members of the academic community. GAV has promoted volunteer training courses aimed at the academic community, especially students.
The dissemination of the initiatives is carried out through social networks, the school's page and also to all those enrolled, information is sent about the initiatives taking place. The activities developed by the students are counted for the purposes of supplementing the diploma and at the end of each event an evaluation is made
