XVII Taller Internacional de Extensión Universitaria
Los conversatorios permiten establecer un diálogo reflexivo y horizontal sobre un tema específico de interés común para promover el cambio social. El Grupo de Investigación de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) “Estudios sobre comunicación y lenguajes para la inclusión y la equidad educativa” y la Fundación SM (España) llevaron a cabo un conversatorio en la Facultad de Educación de la UCM en torno al “Informe UNESCO: Reimaginar juntos nuestros futuros. Un nuevo modelo de contrato social para la educación”. La comunicación que se presenta trata de identificar los cambios que el estudiantado considera necesarios en la Educación ante las transformaciones emergentes del planeta. Está compuesto por N = 115 participantes de distintos grados universitarios pertenecientes a la Facultad referida. Los resultados obtenidos a partir del análisis cualitativo de las respuestas ofrecidas por los estudiantes (a partir de 39 códigos) sugieren que el estudiantado se posiciona ante la necesidad de cambio (10%, n = 11), innovación (11%, n = 13), prácticas inclusivas (9%, n = 10), cooperación (6%, n = 7), el papel de la educación para el cambio (5%, n = 6), atención a la diversidad (4%, n = 5) y avance (4%, n = 5). Los conversatorios, como estrategias pedagógicas, permiten fortalecer el binomio universidad-sociedad, mediante la reflexividad dialogada en torno a cuestiones de conocimiento relevante como las transformaciones emergentes de la educación, fomentando el pensamiento crítico e innovador.
The discussions allow for a reflective and horizontal dialogue on a specific topic of common interest to promote social change. The Research Group of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) "Studies on communication and languages for inclusion and educational equity" and the SM Foundation (Spain) held a discussion at the Faculty of Education of the UCM around the "UNESCO Report: Reimagining our futures together. A new model of social contract for education". The communication presented here tries to identify the changes that students consider necessary in Education in the face of the emerging transformations of the planet. It is composed of N = 115 participants from different university degrees belonging to the referred Faculty. The results obtained from the qualitative analysis of the answers given by the students (from 39 codes) suggest that the student body is positioned on the need for change (10%, n = 11), innovation (11%, n = 13), inclusive practices (9%, n = 10), cooperation (6%, n = 7), the role of education for change (5%, n = 6), attention to diversity (4%, n = 5) and progress (4%, n = 5). As pedagogical strategies, the discussions allow strengthening the university-society binomial, through reflective dialogue on issues of relevant knowledge such as the emerging transformations in education, encouraging critical and innovative thinking.
