Resumen
El objeto del presente texto es la actividad ciencia-tecnología-sociedad en Cuba a partir de 1959, y, en particular, la propuesta de un marco teórico que le sirva de guía. Se defiende la idea que un marco teórico para la actividad CTS en Cuba a partir de 1959, coherente con el proyecto de sociedad que desde entonces se viene construyendo, debe integrar, de una parte, aspectos esenciales de la tradición cubana de pensamiento ciencia y conciencia patriótico-humanista; ideas de Marx y Engels acerca de los nexos ciencia-tecnología-sociedad; el denominado pensamiento latinoamericano en CTS (PLACTS); y la orientación activista-humanista general de CTS existente a nivel internacional; de otra parte, el marco debe favorecer el abordaje de los principales tipos de actividad CTS cubanos: el práctico-existencial, el reflexivo-expresivo y el profesional-institucional; así como las diversas intencionalidades CTS: CTS investigativa, CTS política, CTS gerencial, CTS educativa y CTS comunicacional. En su estructura se divide en tres partes, en correspondencia con el concepto de marco teórico asumido: primera, dimensión histórica-contextual; segunda, dimensión conceptual; y, tercera, dimensión metodológica.
Abstract
The object of this text is the science-technology-society activity in Cuba since 1959, and the specific area of interest is the proposal of a theoretical framework to serve as a guide. It defends the idea that a theoretical framework for the activity CTS in Cuba from 1959, consistent with the project of society that has since been built, it must integrate, on the one hand, the Cuban tradition of scientific thought and patriotic-humanist consciousness; Marx and Engels' ideas about the science-technology-society nexus; the so-called Latin American thought in CTS (PLACTS); and the general activist-humanist orientation of STS existing at the international level; on the other hand, the framework should favor the approach of the main types of cuban CTS activity: the practical-existential, the reflective-expressive and the professional-institutional; as well as the various CTS intentions: investigative CTS, political CTS, managerial CTS, educational CTS and communicational CTS. In its structure it is divided into three parts, in correspondence with the concept of assumed theoretical framework: historical-contextual dimension; conceptual dimension; and, methodological dimension.
