Resumen
En la Academia de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias (FAR)“General Máximo
Gómez” está implementado un Sistema de Vigilancia científico tecnológica, que tiene el
propósito de apoyar con información especializada a la actividad de Ciencia, Tecnología
e Innovación. En igual sentido, y como un elemento de este sistema, se crea el
Observatorio Científico-Tecnológico (OCTE), que se define como:centro de búsqueda,
procesamiento, análisis y difusión de información sobre temas militares, con el objetivo
de identificar y determinar la evolución, estado actual y tendencias de desarrollo, para
apoyar el Proceso Docente Educativo (PDE) y las investigaciones científico militares
que se desarrollan en la institución. El OCTE, cumple con los requerimientos para este
tipo de centro: está enfocado hacia el estudio específico deinformación relevante en el
terreno militar; se auxilia en el uso de las tecnologías para garantizar el ciclo de trabajo
con la información; cuenta con un equipo de trabajo, compuesto por especialistas en el
trabajo de información militar, que promueve el empleo del observatorio y sus
resultados en el PDE y disemina la información a través de productos informativos,
elaborados con fines específicos, de acuerdo con las necesidades de información.
Abstract
There is a Scientific-technological Surveillance System (STSS), implemented at Army Forces Academy. Its objective is to support with specialized information the innovation-technplogial and scientific activities. In the same sence, and as an element of this system, the Scientific-Technolgical Observatory (STO) is creater, which is defined as: a center for the research, processing, analysis and dissemination of information of military theme, writh the a same aim of identifying and determining the evolution, current status and development tendency to support the teaching-learning process (TLP), and the military scientific research carried out in the institution, the STO, it meets the requirements for this type of center, it isfocused on the specific study of relevant informationin the military field, it relies un the use of the technologies to guarantee the work cycle with the information, it has a work team, made up of specialists in the work of military information, which promotes the use y the observatory and its results in the TLP and disseminates the information through informative products prepared for specific purposes, according to the information needs.
