Resumen
El siguiente trabajo investigativo tuvo como motivación e interés el conocer de cerca
las impresiones de los padres y cuidadores de niños y niñas que asisten a un colegio
municipal con una alta tasa de vulnerabilidad, respecto a las terapia asistida con
perros; ya que es importante evidenciar en los niños y niñas que reciben dicho
beneficio, percibir si existen cambios o mejoras luego de ellos asisten a sesiones de
Canoterapia y de esta manera obtener datos que evidencien el trabajo con perro de
terapia y poder continuar empleando este tipo de metodología y recurso diversificado
en el aprendizaje y en el desarrollo socioemocional de los y las estudiantes. La
problemática de la siguiente investigación se basa en el “conocer las percepciones”
que pueden tener los padres, apoderados, cuidadores o tutores de niños y niñas que
asisten a un colegio regular con una tasa de 94% de vulnerabilidad. La investigación
tiene como metodología la encuesta por ende es descriptiva con un enfoque cualitativo
en donde se obtiene la apreciación de los cuidadores y el impacto social que tiene
estas prácticas dentro de los contextos educativos. Posteriormente se exponen los
resultados de las percepciones de los padres o tutores para finalmente lograr
establecer las discusiones respecto a la presente investigación y las conclusiones finales de acuerdo a la apreciación personal e individual de los adultos que pasan
mayor parte del tiempo con niños y niñas que asisten a Canoterapia
Abstract
The motivation and interest of the following research work was to learn more about the
impressions of parents and caregivers of boys and girls who attend a municipal school
with a high vulnerability rate, regarding dog-assisted therapy; since it is important to
show in the boys and girls who receive this benefit, to perceive if there are changes or
improvements after they attend Canotherapy sessions and in this way obtain data that
demonstrates the work with a therapy dog and to be able to continue using this type of
therapy, diversified methodology and resource in learning and the socio-emotional
development of students. The problem of the following research is based on “knowing
the perceptions” that parents, guardians, caregivers or guardians of boys and girls who
attend a regular school with a 94% vulnerability rate may have. The research has a
survey methodology, therefore it is descriptive with a qualitative approach where the
appreciation of caregivers and the social impact that these practices have within
educational contexts is obtained. Subsequently, the results of the perceptions of the
parents or guardians are presented to finally establish the discussions regarding the
present investigation and the final conclusions according to the personal and individual
appreciation of the adults who spend most of their time with boys and girls who They
attend Canotherapy
