ACCIONES PARA PERFECCIONAR LA EVALUACIÓN MENSUAL DEL RESIDENTE DE MEDICINA INTERNA

Introducción: en el sistema de evaluación del aprendizaje del residente, tiene carácter eminentemente educativo, constituye el elemento esencial para medir los cambios cualitativos de los residentes. Objetivo: Proponer acciones para perfeccionar la

evaluación mensual del residente de medicina interna Métodos: Se realizó un estudio de corte pedagógico en el período de marzo a junio del año 2022 de las ediciones 35- 37 en la especialidad de Medicina Interna en la FCM “Mariana Grajales Cuello”” de Holguín, el universo estuvo constituido por la totalidad del claustro de profesores y

directivos de las ediciones evaluadas, La muestra quedó constituida por (33 profesores) y 8 directivos para un total de 41 que conformaron el grupo A y un grupo B con residentes escogidos al azar de los tres escenarios de formación para un total de 82. A los mismos se les aplicó un cuestionario que les fue enviado por Whatsaap de donde se extrajo el dato primario. Resultados: el 61% de los profesores y el 70,7% de los

residentes consideran que existe una correspondencia parcial entre los resultados de evaluaciones de habilidades reflejados en la tarjeta y el desempeño del residente y coincidencia de opiniones entre ambos grupos sobre la necesidad de estandarizar la forma de evaluar la tarjeta.

Conclusiones: La evaluación de la tarjeta del residente aún es muy subjetiva y refleja parcialmente las características de los mismos y la diferenciación en cuanto a la calidad de su formación.

Abstract

Introduction: in the resident's learning evaluation system, it has an eminently educational character, it constitutes the essential element to measure the qualitative changes of the residents. Objective: Propose actions to improve the monthly evaluation of the internal medicine resident Methods: A pedagogical study was carried out in the period from March to June 2022 of editions 35-37 in the specialty of Internal Medicine at the FCM “Mariana Grajales Cuello” of Holguín, the universe was made up of the entire faculty of teachers and managers of the evaluated editions, the sample was made up of (33 teachers) and 8 managers for a total of 41 who made up group A and group B with residents chosen at random from the three training scenarios for a total of 82. A questionnaire was applied to them that was sent to them by WhatsApp from which the primary data was extracted. Results: 61% of the teachers and 70.7% of the residents consider that there is a partial correspondence between the results of the skills evaluations reflected on the card and the performance of the resident and coincidence of opinions between both groups on the need for standardize the way of evaluating the card.
