IMPACTO DE LA MAESTRÍA DE CIRUGÍA DE MÍNIMO ACCESO EN LOS OBJETIVOS DE DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE

Introducción: el Programa de Maestría en Cirugía de Mínimo Acceso responde a necesidades sociales y perspectivas del Sistema Nacional de Salud y los resultados de sus investigaciones impactan en los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible “No. 3 Salud y bienestar” y “No. 4 Educación de Calidad”. Objetivo: mostrar como el Programa de Maestría en Cirugía de Mínimo Acceso ha logrado impactar en el desarrollo sostenible a partir de las investigaciones realizadas. Métodos: se realizó una investigación cualitativa y retrospectiva en el Centro Nacional de Cirugía de Mínimo Acceso. La técnica de investigación empleada fue el análisis documental y bibliográfico, con la revisión de los informes de las tesis finales de maestría y de la autoevaluación del Programa, en sus dos primeras ediciones 2015 y 2018, según el Sistema de Evaluación y Acreditación de Maestrías. Resultados: el Programa cuenta con 30 egresados cuyas investigaciones abordaron el tratamiento laparoscópico del cáncer colorrectal, ginecológico y urológico, entre otros temas. Así mismo, la producción científica en la Edición 02 fue de 100 publicaciones, 159 reconocimientos sociales relevantes y la edición de tres libros, donde participan profesores del claustro de la maestría. Conclusiones: la investigación, la creación de conocimiento e innovación en cirugía de mínimo acceso en el Programa de Maestría en Cirugía de Mínimo Acceso ha permitido fomentar soluciones de desarrollo sostenible en esta área del conocimiento. La producción científica y las ponencias expuestas en eventos nacionales e internacionales propician la consolidación de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible así como la mejor manera de implementarlos en el Sistema Nacional de Salud.

 Introduction: the Syllabus for a Master´s Degree in Minimally Invasive Surgery responds to the social needs and perspectives of the National Health Care System and the results of their research work impact objectives “No. 3 Health and Well-being” and “No. 4 Quality Education”, of the Aims of Sustainable Development. Objective: to show how the Syllabus for a Master´s Degree in Minimally Invasive Surgery has achieved to impact sustainable development starting from the research work done. Methods: a qualitative, retrospective investigation was carried out at the Centro Nacional de Cirugía de Mínimo Acceso. Documental and bibliographic analysis was the technique utilized in the investigation with the revision of the reports of the Master´s final thesis and the self-assessment of the Syllabus in its first two editions in 2015 and 2018, following the Master´s Degrees Assessment and Accreditation guidelines. Results: the syllabus has 30 graduates; their investigations dealt with laparoscopic treatment for colorectal, gynecological and urological cancer, among other topics. The scientific production in Edition 02 included 100 publications, 159 relevant social acknowledgements and the edition of three books, in which the Master´s faculty participates. Conclusions: research, new knowledge and innovation in the Syllabus for a Master´s Degree in Minimally Invasive Surgery have allowed promoting sustainable development solutions in this field of knowledge. Scientific production and the papers presented in national and international conferences bring about the consolidation of the Aims of Sustainable Development as well as the best way to implement them in the National Health Care System.
