III Taller “Universidad, Envejecimiento y Desarrollo Sostenible”.
Las insuficiencias en el funcionamiento e impacto de la Cátedra Universitaria del Adulto Mayor (CUAM), en correspondencia con dinámica sociodemográfica y el envejecimiento de la población en la provincia Santiago de Cuba, constituyó el pretexto de las investigadoras para elaborar y aplicar un proyecto extensionista sociocultural para atención integral a los adultos mayores desde las aulas de la CUAM como iniciativa para el fortalecimiento de la sinergia entre las entidades y organismos que participan en el programa de transformación de comunidades y barrios en situación de vulnerabilidad. En el proceso investigativo se utilizaron métodos teóricos, empíricos y estadísticos -matemáticos para la determinación de los fundamentos teóricos, el análisis y procesamiento de la información derivada del diagnóstico inicial; y la valoración de la efectividad y eficacia en cada momento del proceso. Los resultados obtenidos dan cuenta del impacto de los proyectos que en todos los municipios se implementan para lograr extender las aulas hacia los diversos consejos populares.
The inadequacies in the operation and impact of the biggest Adult's University Class
(CUAM), in correspondence with dynamic sociodemográfica and the population's aging in the county Santiago from Cuba, constituted the pretext of the investigators to elaborate and to apply a project sociocultural extensionista for integral attention to the biggest adults from the classrooms of the CUAM like initiative for the invigoration of the synergy among the entities and organisms that participate in the program of transformation of communities and neighborhoods in vulnerability situation. In the investigative process theoretical, empiric and statistical methods were used - mathematicians for the determination of the theoretical foundations, the analysis and prosecution of the derived information of the initial diagnosis; and the valuation of the effectiveness and effectiveness in each moment of the process. The obtained results give bill of the impact of the projects that you/they are implemented to be able to extend the classrooms toward the diverse popular advice in all the municipalities.
