Resumen
Desde hace unos años la juventud LGBTI comienza a ser más visibles en nuestra sociedad y en la educación superior cubana. Sin embargo, todavía queda por hacer en función de prevenir, atender y acompañar a los miembros de este grupo poblacional que son víctimas de esta problemática social. En esta dirección los gabinetes psicopedagógicos constituyen una vía para el acompañamiento psicosocial a las personas LGBTI víctimas de la violencia homofóbica y transfóbica. Este acompañar implica compartir, ayudar, pero sin invadir a la otra persona en la búsqueda de soluciones que posibiliten el enfrentamiento a las situaciones que surjan por motivo de homofobia y transfobia. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo: Reflexionar sobre el acompañamiento a la juventud LGBTI víctima de la violencia homofóbica y transfóbica en su tránsito por la educación superior.
Abstract
In recent years, LGBTI youth have begun to be more visible in our society and in Cuban higher education. However, there is still work to be done to prevent, care for and accompany members of this population group who are victims of this social problem. In this direction, the psycho-pedagogical offices constitute a way for the psychosocial accompaniment of LGBTI people who are victims of homophobic and transphobic violence. This accompaniment implies sharing, helping, but without invading the other person in the search for solutions that make it possible to confront situations that arise due to homophobia and transphobia. The objective of this paper is: To reflect on the accompaniment of LGBTI youth who are victims of homophobic and transphobic violence in their transit through higher education.
