La investigación se proyecta al fortalecimiento de la preparación y competitividad de la comunidad científica vinculada a la industria de procesos químicos en la región central de Cuba. En el mismo se diseñan y ejecutan acciones que contribuyen a la continuidad de su preparación científica en el área de la Ingeniería Química, en estrecho vínculo entre las universidades y empresas para la búsqueda de soluciones a problemas complejos del sector empresarial con un impacto inmediato sobre la base del fortalecimiento y beneficio mutuo de los centros de generación de conocimientos y sus entornos empresariales. Estas acciones contribuirán a disminuir la edad promedio de los doctores formados y aumentar la proyección a mediano y largo plazo de la cantera del relevo científico y sus líderes, que garantice las fuerzas de tracción de los colectivos en su interrelación con la sociedad, la gestión de ciencia e innovación y la continuidad de las escuelas científicas.
The work recalling the experiences is projected to strengthen the preparation and competitiveness of the scientific community linked to the chemical process industry in the central region of Cuba. In it, actions are designed and carried out that contribute to the continuity of the scientific preparation of the scientific community in Chemical Engineering in close connection with universities and companies with the idea that the search for solutions to problems of greater immediate impact constitutes the basis of this strengthening with mutual benefit of the knowledge generation centers and their business environments. These actions will help to reduce the average age of doctors and increase the projection in the medium and long term, also achieving the quarry of a scientific relay and its leaders, which guarantees the traction forces of the groups in their interrelation with society, the management of Science and Innovation and the continuity of scientific schools
